As part of Ameren's continued commitment to support STEM education, AmerenCares is announcing a new partnership with Project Lead the Way (PLTW) to provide hands-on STEM learning experiences for Pre-K-12 students in Illinois and Missouri.
The partnership with PLTW will provide grant support to schools interested in implementing and/or expanding current PLTW Launch programs. To learn more about the available grants or to submit an application, educators can visit the PLTW STEM application site: PLTW STEM application site.
PLTW is a mission-driven organization that is transforming the learning experience for millions of Pre-K-12 students and thousands of teachers across the country. The organization helps empower students to develop in-demand, transportable knowledge and skills through pathways in computer science, engineering, and biomedical science. PLTW’s teacher training and resources support educators as they engage their students in real-world learning. Approximately 12,200 elementary, middle, and high schools in all 50 states and the District of Columbia offer PLTW programs.
