City of Park Hills Accepting Sealed Bids for Surplus Police Vehicle

The City of Park Hills is accepting sealed bids for the sale of one decommissioned surplus police vehicle. The vehicle available for bid is a 2013 Chevrolet Impala, previously used by the Park Hills Police Department. The vehicle has approximately 49,640 miles and is being sold as-is with no warranties expressed or implied. The minimum bid (reserve) for the vehicle is $3,000, and bids below this amount will not be considered.

Bid Submission Details

Sealed bids must be submitted to:

All bids must be received no later than:
Friday, May 29, 2026, at 4:00 PM CDT

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked:
“SEALED BID — 2013 Chevrolet Impala (Surplus Vehicle)”

Each bid must include:

  • Full legal name
  • Mailing address
  • Telephone number
  • Bid amount (written in words and numerals)
  • Signature

Bid Opening

Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on:

Monday, June 1, 2026, at 8:30 PM CDT

Award, Payment, and Pickup

The vehicle will be awarded to the highest responsible bidder meeting or exceeding the minimum bid. Final approval will be made by the Park Hills City Council.

Full payment is due within seven calendar days of award notification. Accepted payment methods include cash, cashier’s check, or money order.

The vehicle must be removed within five business days after payment is received.

Title Transfer and Additional Information

The City will provide a properly assigned Certificate of Title. The buyer is responsible for any required inspections prior to use.
