The City of Park Hills is in the process of developing a Storm Water Master Plan, a benchmark policy document that will guide the future of storm water management in the community.

The Storm Water Master Plan will serve as a blueprint for identifying issues, addressing needs, and implementing strategies that align with the city’s mission and vision for storm water services. By establishing a consistent set of ideas, beliefs, and values, the plan will provide direction for both current and future storm water management efforts.

Key objectives of the plan include:

  • Identifying storm water issues and needs within the community.

  • Establishing strategies and solutions for managing those issues.

  • Providing a foundation for future planning and implementation of storm water projects.

To ensure residents’ voices are heard, the city will host a public meeting on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Park Hills City Hall. Citizens are encouraged to attend to share concerns, identify storm water challenges affecting their neighborhoods, and provide input that will help shape the city’s future Storm Water Master Plan.

“This plan is about preparing for the future of Park Hills,” said city officials. “By engaging our residents, we can focus on the most important issues and implement solutions that will improve quality of life for our community.”
