Park Hills Establishes New Citizen Advisory Committee

January 31, 2025 - Park Hills, MO, - The City of Park Hills has established a new Citizen Advisory Committee through Ordinance No. 1616-25, creating an opportunity for residents to actively participate in shaping the city's future.

January 31, 2025 - Park Hills, MO,  - The City of Park Hills has established a new Citizen Advisory Committee through Ordinance No. 1616-25, creating an opportunity for residents to actively participate in shaping the city's future.

The committee will consist of five to six citizens who will serve in an advisory capacity to the City Council and Mayor. Members will review, promote, and expedite development initiatives while investigating specific issues assigned by the City Council.

To qualify, applicants must be at least 18 years old and either reside in Park Hills or own a business within the city limits. Committee members will serve three-year terms beginning June 1st, with a maximum of two terms allowed.

"This committee represents a significant step forward in engaging our community members in the decision-making process," said Mayor Stacey Easter. "We're looking forward to hearing fresh perspectives from our citizens."
