WATER MAIN BREAK UPDATE & BOIL WATER ADVISORY
The water main break has been successfully repaired! However, during this event, two of our city's water towers were drained. Our crews will need to open fire hydrants to relieve air pressure while refilling the tanks. We expect water service to be restored by 11 a.m. today.

BOIL WATER ADVISORY IN EFFECT
A precautionary boil water advisory has been issued for the ENTIRE CITY for the UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Please follow these important guidelines:
- Bring water to a rolling boil for 3 minutes before using
- Use boiled or bottled water for:
- Drinking
- Making ice
- Brushing teeth
- Washing dishes
- Food preparation
- Pet water bowls

A special shoutout to our incredible City Utilities Crew who have been working tirelessly since 6:30 p.m. yesterday. They tackled a massive 12-inch main break buried 8 feet deep, successfully replacing an 8-foot section of the line. Their dedication and hard work through the night ensured our community's water service could be restored as quickly as possible.
