Residents are hereby notified to immediately cease water usage until further notice. Our city water towers are currently in the process of refilling, and continued water consumption will significantly impair and delay this essential process.
The water main break has been successfully repaired! However, during this event, two of our city's water towers were drained. Our crews will need to open fire hydrants to relieve air pressure while refilling the tanks. We expect water service to be restored by 11 a.m. today.
The City of Park Hills Water Department is currently responding to a water main break on a 12-inch line on Rivermines Street, located just downstream from the water plant. Additionally, crews are investigating a potential second break on McGlashon Street.
